    It is well known that in recent years several laws have been implemented in the matter of housing leases due to the economic situation motivated in part by the war between Russia and Ukraine. In recent years, different measures have been implemented regarding the updating of rents in regular and permanent housing leases. The latest measure that affects the sector for which lease contracts for this type of housing, approved on January 19 of this year, sets different maximum update percentage amounts, of 2% or 5%. Of the maximum 2% for those contracts whose minimum duration has not yet expired and are not under tacit or forced extension and which have been in force for at least one year. Of the maximum 5% for those contracts whose minimum duration has expired or are in a tacit or forced extension.
